Fall 2023 Visiting Artist Colloquium

Heather Green is an artist and educator whose work explores the historical and ecological narratives of a small headland along the Gulf of California in Sonora, Mexico, a place she has known since childhood. Whether photographing the movements of the tide, interviewing fishermen, conferring with regional scientists, or combing the shoreline—investigative fieldwork inspires and informs her projects.
