Dr. Larry D. Brown Jr. is a post-doctoral fellow at Wisconsin Center for Educational Research and an associate director of community health and violence prevention services at Harris County Public Health in Texas. He defended his dissertation, “Edu-Carcerality: Beyond the Metaphor of School to Prison,” in EPS in 2022.
