Award-winning science writer and author Dava Sobel has written for the New York Times and Discover magazine, and is author of the books "Longitude," "Galileo's Daughter" and "Planets." "Galileo's Daughter" was a finalist for the 2000 Pulitzer Prize in biography. This event is brought to you by the Women in Science program of the Wisconsin Initiative for Science Literacy.
