Description
Pam Sieving was the first informationist at the National Institutes of Health Library, hired a year following the Annals of Internal Medicine editorial proposing that clinical teams include someone with knowledge of the clinical context, skills in info retrieval, and knowledge of evidence-based medicine. Pam will speak about the role of the informationist, the need for librarians to embed with the groups they work with, and issues that arise as part of that integration; & evaluation/metrics.
