Determined to find the father she never knew, twelve-year-old Lila will stop at nothing in order to track him down. In the middle of winter, she repeatedly attempts to escape her remote boarding school in the Argentine Sierra de Córdoba mountains. Lila’s sheer persistence convinces an empathetic teacher to help, even if that means going behind the backs of the school authorities as well as Lila’s mother.
