Description
Raúl Madrid is one of the most prominent scholars of Latin American political institutions, having contributed to critical bodies of research on ethnic politics and social policy in the region. He will be presenting on his new work on democratic consolidation, seeking to explain what some Latin American countries have consolidated democratic norms while others have slid back toward nondemocratic practices.
