In this talk, Soyeon Shim discusses how design thinking can be applied to help graduate students balance their personal and professional interests and ultimately design a life around meaningful work and relationships. Design thinking involves aligning work with your personal values, understanding what motivates you, and examining where you’ve come from and where you’re going. With design thinking as a framework, students will leave prepared to build their careers and graduate school experience!
