In this workshop for UW-Madison language educators, led by Dr. Uju Anya, Carnegie Mellon University, participants will examine research on experiences of Black and other minoritized students in world language classrooms and learn how to enact a critical race pedagogy for language teaching (CRPWLT) to promote antiracist, equity-minded, and inclusive practices that help these students succeed in their language studies.
