Description
Professor Gerstein will provide an overview of AI approaches for biomedicine, from classical to emerging tools, with a focus on modeling gene-regulatory and cell-communication networks to interpret brain disease. He will highlight new LLM applications, including Biocoder, MedAgents, and CellForce, and address genomic privacy challenges through classical approaches and through a quantum-computing framework that enables distributed genomic analysis without exposing individual-level data.
