Most undergraduates in the US are educated at liberal arts colleges, community colleges and other teaching-focused universities, and the faculty who teach them frequently balance teaching, research, and mentorship as dynamic pieces of a rewarding career. Panelists will share what their jobs are like, how they became interested in teaching, what it was like to transition from their previous studies at research-intensive R1 institutions, and what growth and progression can look like.
